vancouver fc u19’s

The Vancouver Football Club Under-19s will take part in the Fraser Valley Soccer League (FVSL), in the Premier Division, beginning September 2024. The FVSL Premier Division is one of the top soccer leagues in British Columbia, providing more than 10 of the best clubs in the region an environment to compete and develop future pro’s and top players in the country.

This will be Vancouver FC U19’s first year competing in this competition. This will be a fully funded program composed of two rosters:

  1. Full-Time Players

    • Players that are part of the full-time U-19 roster will have 3-4 sessions per week, with an additional match on the weekends. Full-time players will be unattached unsigned youth players.

  2. Part-Time Players

    • Players that are involved with the U-19 team on a part-time basis will train once a week with the full-time U19 squad, with additional matches throughout the Fraser Valley Soccer League (FVSL) season.

    • Part-time players can be signed BCSPL and/or academy youth players. Training as part of the part-time U-19 team will be supplementary to the home club environment (no removal). Players may join this group through the season based on recommendations, invitations and observations.

Through this pathway, players will have a direct opportunity to sign with the Vancouver FC First Team, or the opportunity to be invited to Vancouver FC First Team training sessions throughout the Canadian Premier League (CPL) season.

The selection process for the Vancouver FC U19 roster will begin at the August Combine, and throughout the summer.
